Gallery No. 6 (2006 ~ 2008)

"Looking at the previous works from years ago, I found that there are many places that needed to be improved. This is true especially in the area of head sculptures. I used to think hat applying to the faces some mud & dirt's will do just fine. In fact the head sculpt is the soul of an action figure and to give the realism or to give life to a figure, repainting the head sculpt is a very crucial step. I have to devote more effort in this area in order to achieve the best results." |

works of 2005. I tried two things in this period; one is to build larger dioramas, which involved special facial expression figures. Again, many thanks for "Feng"; I was able to complete these projects with character figures. The other thing is the urge for something new with the leathers; the boots that I have never tried before and I have also accomplished the most complicated project so far: the saddle. |

works of 2004. I switched the focus to F.J. for this series. The details on the leather gears have been improved a lot. Different weathering techniques were also experiment; especially on the helmets, based on the research from many WWII pictures. |

works of 2003. The theme is DAK. A very special thanks to 'Feng' from Taiwan, a real talented 1:6 head sculptor. The head sculpts from Feng stand out my figures. New weathering technique with the leather gears and other accessories on these figures was also adopted. |

works of 2002. Like some of my previous works, I put in some non-historical elements in these figures, just for pure fun. |

some of my early works between 2000 and 2001. Some early attempts on hand made the leather gears because the mass-produced plastic accessories are not satisfactory. Thanks to my friend "zman", I am able to share these initial works with the community through his personal website. |
